People often begin researching Canadian immigration months before they need certified translations. At that stage, the first question is usually not which document to translate. It is whether their education, language level, work experience and circumstances appear to match the published requirements of any Canadian program.
Translation Agency of Ontario has created a free Canada Immigration Tools portal to make that early research more organized.
The program finder compares a user's answers with the published requirements of 47 federal, provincial and territorial immigration programs and streams. The same portal also includes a CRS calculator and a CLB/NCLC converter.

After the questionnaire, the tool groups the results by jurisdiction and shows the published requirements line by line. This makes it easier to distinguish between requirements that appear to match the answers entered and items that still require confirmation.
The result is not a prediction. It does not estimate an invitation, approval or processing time. Its purpose is to help users read public requirements in a structured way.
CRS is important for Express Entry, but it is not the same as reviewing the entry requirements of different programs.

The tools are free to use. No account, registration or email address is required. Answers remain in the user's browser.
Users should not post personal information or documents publicly when asking questions about their results.
Once a person identifies programs worth researching, they can begin organizing the documents that may later be required. Depending on the program and individual circumstances, these may include civil records, educational documents, employment records, police certificates and other supporting evidence.
Documents that are not in English or French may require certified translation. The receiving authority and the document type determine the appropriate translation and certification requirements.
Translation Agency of Ontario provides certified translation services, but it does not submit immigration applications or provide immigration advice. Users who need an individual assessment should speak with a licensed Canadian immigration consultant or lawyer.
