When do I need a notarized translation?
Usually only when a foreign institution asks for it, for example some consulates (Mexican, Cuban, Russian, Spanish and others). Most Canadian bodies, including IRCC, accept a regular certified translation.
How much does a notarized translation cost?
Notarized translations start at $99 per document, plus 13% HST. Your exact price is confirmed in the quote before you pay.
How long does it take?
A notarized order takes 2-4 business days longer than a regular certified translation. The turnaround is confirmed in your quote.
Do you notarize documents without translation?
No. We notarize translations that we prepare. Notarization on its own is not a service we offer.
Notarized or certified: which one do I need?
A certified translation is signed and stamped by the translator. A notarized translation adds a notary step on top of it. Ask your receiving institution which format it requires; acceptance depends on its rules.
