Do I need an ATIO-certified translation for OINP?
Yes, if you apply from within Ontario. OINP requires a translator accredited by ATIO.
I apply from outside Ontario. What do I need?
Any translator can do it, but the translation must be notarized. We offer notarized translation from $99.
Can I translate my documents myself?
No. OINP does not accept translations by you, your representative, a friend or a family member.
What if my translation is not certified?
OINP returns applications with translations that are not complete, certified or notarized as incomplete.
Can I use the same translation for IRCC?
Yes. IRCC accepts translations by certified translators, so an ATIO-certified translation works for your IRCC application too.
