OINP Document Translation in Ontario

Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program applicants often need certified English or French translations for documents issued outside Canada. Translation Agency of Ontario prepares OINP supporting documents for applicants in Toronto, Ottawa, Mississauga, Brampton, North York and across Ontario.

When you need a certified translation for OINP

OINP files often include identity, education, employment and civil-status records issued outside Canada. If a supporting document is not already in English or French, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program may require a certified translation that can be reviewed beside the original.

The same package may later be used with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, so the translation should preserve names, dates, stamps, seals and page structure clearly. For Ontario-specific instructions, applicants should also pay attention to whether the receiving body asks for an ATIO-certified translation.

Documents we translate for OINP

We regularly translate the supporting documents most often attached to OINP applications:

  • Birth, marriage, divorce and name-change certificates
  • Police clearance certificates and background check documents
  • Diplomas, degrees, transcripts and academic records
  • Employment letters, reference letters, contracts and pay records
  • Business registration, tax and settlement-supporting documents
  • Identity pages from passports, family books and civil registries
  • Driver's licences and licensing records when they support an Ontario file

Ontario applicants also use certified translations for ServiceOntario, the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario (MTO), schools, employers and courts. For related document pages, start with birth certificate translation, police certificate translation or the certification format guide.
