How Much Does a Driver's Licence Translation Cost in Ontario?
To exchange your foreign driver's licence for a Canadian one at a DriveTest Centre, you need to provide an official certified translation in English or French.
Ontario: An expensive ATIO-certified translation is no longer mandatory to exchange a driver's licence. According to the official DriveTest website, a regular certified translation is sufficient. If a DriveTest agent mistakenly requires an ATIO translation, you can refer them to their own guidelines.
Quebec: An ATIO-certified translation is required for driver's licences in Quebec. Please inform your project manager that the translation is for use in Quebec.
