Federal Skilled Worker requires CLB 7 in all four abilities. Canadian Experience Class requires CLB 7 for TEER 0 and 1 occupations and CLB 5 for TEER 2 and 3. Federal Skilled Trades requires CLB 5 in speaking and listening and CLB 4 in reading and writing.
Federal Skilled Worker: at least one year of continuous skilled work (TEER 0 to 3) in the last ten years. Canadian Experience Class: at least one year of skilled work in Canada in the last three years. Federal Skilled Trades: at least two years in an eligible trade in the last five years.
Yes, if your education was completed outside Canada and you apply under Federal Skilled Worker or an OINP Express Entry stream. Canadian Experience Class does not require an ECA, but foreign education without one earns no ranking points.
A valid Express Entry profile, at least one year of TEER 0 to 3 work experience in the last five years, a bachelor's, master's or PhD degree (with an ECA if foreign), CLB 7 in English or French, and settlement funds. Invitations are issued by expression-of-interest score.
Any document issued in a language other than English or French must be submitted with a certified translation. This usually includes birth, marriage and divorce certificates, diplomas and transcripts, employment reference letters from foreign employers, police certificates from your home country and foreign bank statements.
